Q: Where do you get your camp staff? 

A: All volunteers are screened, background checked, and trained in our youth ministry. Volunteer applications may be requested by phone, mail, email, link on website. www.questministriesnc.com 

Q: What is your camper/staff ratio? 

A: We maintain a 4:1 camper/staff ratio at camp 

Q: Do you have a Ministry Belief Statement? 

A: Yes, it is available on the website, by mail, email or text. 

Q: What about young adult staff assistants? 

A: Our staff assistants 17-21 years of age assist at camp or on a mission team under the supervision of experienced staff members. They have participated in training with staff and many move into staff positions. 

Q: Who governs Quest Ministry? 

A: The president of the ministry seeks counsel from a Board of Directors which includes Rachel Wilkens, Pastor Chuck Broome, Pastor Gary Anderson, Pastor Mark Gallowitch, and Chad Broome, 

Q: What is included in each of the QM event fees? 

A1: Camp Quest Fee of $265 includes housing, a t-shirt, all meals, snacks, admission fees to various fieldtrips, travel to field trips, access to phone service, and all program supplies. Discounts are available for groups and family. All camper fees are non-transferrable and non-refundable. 

A2: OBX Mission Fee of $600 includes housing, a t-shirt, all meals except 2, snacks, admission fees to any activities, travel, access to phone service. Team Member Packet for prayer support and fund-raising information available upon request. All Mission Team fees are non-transferrable and non-refundable and due prior to departure on mission. 

A3: Mexico Mission Fees include airfare, all meals except last one in the airport on return flight, housing, 2 t-shirts, emergency insurance, luggage fees, ministry supplies i.e. Spanish Bibles, notebooks, books for pastors, pens, soccer balls, insurance for medical treatment or evacuation, internet access. Team Member Packet is available for prayer support and fund-raising information. The 2020Mexico Mission Fee is $2400 per person {may vary due to airfare, housing costs). All Mission Team fees are non-transferrable and non-refundable, and due in full prior to departure. 

Q: Is there a ministry theme for this year?

Q: Is there medical assistance available at Camp? 

A: We have basic first aid supplies. Several of our staff are certified in first aid and CPR. Past several years we had an RN on staff. 

Q: How do I sign up for Camp Quest or a Mission Trip? 

A: Return the completed application with necessary fees or deposit if applicable or call to make financial arrangements, or use PayPal on our website. See link on this website. 

Q: Is there Financial Assistance available? 

A: From time to time ministry partners with QM provide scholarships for a camper, but funds are extremely limited. We suggest families plan months ahead for summer camp and mission trips. Secondly, we suggest that a family seek help first from their local church pastor/youth pastor. We try not to deny any youth an opportunity to come to camp if possible. 

Q: Where is Camp Quest located? 

A1: CAMP QUEST is held at Pleasant Grove Campground, 2220 Billy Howey Rd., Waxhaw, NC 28173 near Mineral Springs, NC. It is about 30 miles South of Charlotte, 7 miles SW of Monroe, 175 miles WNW of Wilmington NC/ 265 miles ESE of Knoxville, TN, 360 miles SW of Virginia Beach, VA; 360 miles E. of NC OBX. And 600 miles NNE of St. Petersburg, FL. 

A2: OBX Mission departs from our Ministry/ Home at 3213 Manchester Ave., Monroe, NC 28110. 

A3: Mexico Mission departs from Charlotte Douglas International Airport (Google).
